Author: Li Yu
When is the spring flower and autumn moon, how much is known about the past. The small building was easterly again last night, and the old country could not bear to look back on the moon.
The jade carving should still exist, but Zhu Yan changed it. How much sadness can you have? It's just a river flowing eastward.
2. Vernacular translation:
Spring flowers bloom every year, and autumn moon shines every year. When does the time end? In the past years, there were too many sad memories. Last night, the east wind started again in the small building, and I climbed the building to look at the moon, so I couldn't help looking back at my old country.
In the past, the finely carved railings and jade steps in Jinling City should still be there, but the people living in them have changed. To ask how much sadness you have in your heart is probably as endless as the surging spring water flowing eastward.
3. "When are the spring flowers and the autumn moon?" is a word written by Li Yu, queen of the Southern Tang Dynasty during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period. This word is the author's last work and a sad song of life. By comparing the sharp contradiction between the eternity of nature and the impermanence of life, the author expresses the sorrow of life failure after the national subjugation. The language of the whole poem is clear, concise, beautiful and fresh, with questions and answers, from the question of heaven and man to the question of self. Through the intense tone and tortuous artistic structure in sadness, the author's melancholy runs through and forms a refreshing aesthetic effect.
