Is "Fishing Boat Singing" a solo by Qin Liu?

"Fishing Boat Singing" is a guzheng song.

The music depicts the beautiful scene of the sunset reflecting the blue waves, fishermen enjoying themselves and fishing boats drifting with the tide. This piece of music is the most widely circulated and influential Zheng solo in China since 1930s.

After the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), the famous musician Mr. Li adapted and created the violin music based on the Zheng music of the same name, which was widely circulated all over the world and played by Sheng Zhongguo and others.

The poem "Fishing Boat Singing" comes from the poem "Fishing boat singing late, making Li Peng poor" in the preface to Wang Tengting by Wang Bo, a poet in the Tang Dynasty. The music depicts the touching picture of fishermen singing home in the afterglow of the sunset. At the beginning of the music, with beautiful and elegant tunes and soothing rhythm, a picture of the sunset reflecting the blue waves is painted. Then take the theme of music as the material, and the music is lively and interesting. When it changes again and again, it falls around a beautiful melody layer by layer with a five-tone detour. This melody is not only very stylish, but also beautiful, and it is really interesting to sing late. Finally, the melody that rises first and then falls is combined into a circular circle, which is repeated many times, and the speed is accelerated one after another, showing the happy fishermen carefree, pieces of white sails drifting with the tide, and the fishing boats returning home with full loads. The poetic Zheng music of the richest man has been adapted into, guzheng duet and violin solo.

There are different opinions about the origin of music. One is that Lou Shuhua, a guzheng player, adapted the ancient song "Go Back" in Ming and Qing Dynasties in the mid-1930s, and the other is that Jin Zhuonan, a guzheng player in Shandong Province, adapted the traditional folk song "Shuangban" and other songs in his early years. Now widely circulated Louben, the first half is the same as Jinben, and the second half is unique to Louben.
