Burning Fujian and Guangdong flowers and visiting Quanzhou and Gusao Tower, "The second princess is cold and the autumn is rustling."

Gusao Tower, also known as Guansuota and Wanshou Pagoda, stands at the top of Baogai Mountain in shishi city, a famous hometown of overseas Chinese. Built in Shaoxing during the Southern Song Dynasty, this pagoda is an ancient stone pagoda famous for its southern Fujian and Nanyang Islands. Overseas Chinese in southern Fujian regard it as a symbol of their hometown. Gu's "Minutes of Reading Historical Sites" said that Baogai Mountain "has a stone tower on the top, which is majestic and abrupt. Out of Yun Biao, merchant ships think that reaching the shore is the standard. " Gusao Tower is really a lighthouse for ancient ships.

Legend has it that a long time ago, there was a drought in southern Fujian, and no grain was harvested. At the foot of Baogai Mountain, a farmer surnamed Zhang could not bear the oppression of the landlord and left his wife and sister to make a living overseas. Before leaving, he agreed to go home to pay his debts three years later. Three years later, Zhang Lang was unfortunately caught in a strong wind on his way home and the ship sank. Sister-in-law is looking forward to going home day and night at home, laying a stone on Baogai Mountain and watching the sea. Year after year, the stone on the mountain has built a tower, but Zhang Lang still hasn't come back. They both died because they were ill. Later generations sympathized with their misfortune and named the tower "Gusao Tower".

Gusao Tower is 2 1.65 meters high and 20 meters wide at the bottom, all made of stone, which looks like a lonely peak from a distance. The plane of the tower is octagonal and the inside of the tower is hollow. There are stone steps on the inner wall leading to the top of the tower, a gourd temple on the top of the tower, cloisters and fences outside the tower, and visitors can climb to the top to enjoy the sea view outside the tower. This tower is backed by Quanzhou Pingchou and faces the Taiwan Province Strait. When Haiyun was born, Baogai peaks floated around, which looked like Penglai fairyland from a distance. Therefore, it has become one of the ten scenic spots in Quanzhou. Amin poet Zhu Wu wrote a poem: "The sea enters Fusang, the waves are stormy, and the mountains are lush."
