Answer: Everything has its own merits.
Source: Song Dynasty Lu Meipo's poem "Snow Plum".
Original text:
The plum blossoms and snow refused to fall in spring, so the poet spent money on writing reviews.
The plum blossoms are less white than the snow, but the snow is less fragrant than the plum blossoms.
Translation: Plum blossoms and snowflakes both believe that they have all the beauty of spring, and neither one is willing to give in to the other. It is difficult to break a poet and write a critical article. To be fair, plum blossoms make snowflakes crystal clear and white, but snowflakes do not have the fragrance of plum blossoms.
Appreciation: Many poets in ancient and modern times often write about snow and plum blossoms together. Xue Yinmei revealed the message of spring, and Main Xue showed even more noble character. Snow and plum blossoms have become messengers of spring and symbols of the end of winter and the arrival of spring. However, in the writings of the poet Lu Meipo, the two had "frictions" over the struggle for spring. They both believed that each had taken all the beauty and decoration of spring, and neither one was willing to give in to the other. This way of writing is really novel, unique and unexpected. No wonder the poet can't judge the level. The last two sentences of the poem cleverly highlight the strengths and weaknesses of the two: plum blossoms are not as white as snow, and snow does not have the fragrance of plum blossoms. It answers the reason for "Sao Renge's pen fee chapter" and also explains the basis for each side of snow and plum blossoms. After reading the complete poem, we seem to see that the author wrote this poem with extraneous meaning: taking advantage of the snowy plum blossoms competing for spring, we are warned that we all have our own strengths and weaknesses, and we must be self-aware. Taking advantage of others' strengths and making up for one's own shortcomings is the truth. This poem has both emotional and intellectual interest, and is worth chanting. This poem explains the relationship between plum blossoms, snow, and poetry. The three are indispensable. Only when the three are combined can the most beautiful spring scenery be formed. The poet believes that if there are only plum blossoms blooming alone without falling snow, it will not show the charm of spring; if there are plum blossoms and snow but no poems, it will also make people feel inelegant. From this poem, we can see the poet's obsessive spirit and elegant aesthetic taste in appreciating snow, plum blossoms and reciting poems.
