Tao Yuanming, a native of Yifeng County, Yichun City, was an outstanding poet, lyricist and essayist from the late Eastern Jin Dynasty to the early Liu Song Dynasty. His works include Drinking and Peach Blossom Garden.
Jie Lisi, a native of Fengcheng County, Yichun City, was a famous writer and calligrapher in Yuan Dynasty. He was one of the four greatest poets in Yuan Dynasty, together with Yu Ji, Yang Zai and Fan Jing, and was also called the four outstanding scholars with Yu Ji, Liu Guan and Huang Pan. His works include Fisherman and Gaoyou City.
