Xu Benyi's achievements and honors.

He has served as secretary-general and vice-chairman of Hubei Calligraphers Association, vice-president of Calligraphy Newspaper, member of Hubei Federation of Literary and Art Circles and director of Hubei Foreign Cultural Exchange Association. He is currently a director of China Calligraphers Association, a member of the Creative Review Committee of China Calligraphers Association, a member of the Fine Arts Committee of China Calligraphers Association, a chairman of Hubei Calligraphers Association, a chairman of Hubei Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and a national first-class artist. His calligraphy works have participated in all previous national exhibitions of calligraphy and seal cutting, all previous national exhibitions of young and middle-aged calligraphers and seal carvers, and large-scale book exhibitions at home and abroad, such as the exhibition of representative calligraphers from China and Japan, the International Calligraphy Invitational Exhibition, the China Calligraphy Boutique Exhibition, and the Paris Modern China Calligraphy Exhibition.
