Zheng Xie, a painter in Qing Dynasty who is famous for his "three unique skills" of poetry, calligraphy and painting, created his own calligraphy art.

Zheng Xie created his own "Six Books and a Half" in calligraphy art, which is also called "Banqiao Style" internationally. He mixed the calligraphy styles of official script and running script, and created this font between official script and official script. Because official script is also called "Eight Points", Zheng Xie jokingly called his non-official script "Six Points and Half Books".
