Hu (1902- 1996) is a master of Chinese painting in China, and 1925 graduated from Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts. He is one of the founders of the National Art Association and the first director. From 65438 to 0943, he served as honorary professor of National Chung Cheng University, and was ordered by the Ministry of Education to present paintings to American President Roosevelt and British Prime Minister Churchill. In the same year, he founded Mo Lifeng Art Institute, and served as president and professor. 1958 presided over the establishment of the Fine Arts Department of Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute in Jiangxi, and served as a professor. Hu loved painting since childhood. 1923 Hu was admitted to Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts, the first institution of higher learning in China, with excellent results. During his school days, Hu made a thorough and systematic study of traditional painting theories and techniques, and at the same time used the new ideas of modern art theory to cultivate spirit and emotion, forming a unique artistic style. After graduation, Hu went to Shanghai, Nanjing and other places to paint friends, and became bosom friends with Pan Tianshou, Xu Beihong, Zhang Daqian and Fu Baoshi. As an influential and accomplished master of art education in the history of contemporary art education in Jiangxi, Hu devoted his whole life to this red land of Jiangxi without any regrets.
1955 Hou Hu participated in the establishment of Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute in Jiangxi. Hu is good at ink painting. Whether it's peaks or hills, the clouds are light at dusk; Whether it is flowers, wild birds or kingfishers, you can feel the full passion and artistic realm of the author's creation. The ink paintings in his works, while inheriting the traditional pen and ink, express their true feelings with original modeling language, forming a brand-new artistic appearance, which makes his works achieve the goal of "setting the shape with the pen and setting the color with ink, so the painting color is not in the position of lead blue, but in the light and shade, the way can be obtained, so the modality is getting closer and closer, the spirit is getting stronger and stronger, and the scenery is unique."
