Zhouzhuang ancient town
If you have the plot of an ancient town, don't miss Zhouzhuang, a "small bridge with flowing water", which is perfectly combined with Zhouzhuang. It's crazy to get up in a daze early in the morning or walk in Zhouzhuang at night.
The charm of Zhouzhuang lies in its cultural implication. Shenting, Zhangting, mysterious architecture, former residence, Taoist temple, Quanfu Temple and other places of interest have high historical, cultural and ornamental value.
Where there are rivers and streets, there must be bridges. There are many ancient bridges in Zhouzhuang, which face each other and are connected with each other. Stone bridges built in Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties are still preserved. It's quite interesting to sit on the boat and visit the bridge and cross the hole. If you are in a good mood, you might as well visit them one by one.
Jinxi town
"The town is Zeguo, surrounded by water" and "It's a short trip by boat" is a portrayal of Jinxi. Water lanes, river ports, arch bridges, arcades, Langfang and markets are all harmonious and unified in a corner of Jinxi.
The looming tomb of Chen Feishui, the melodious wind chimes of Wenchang ancient pavilion, the ten-eye long bridge on the dragon lying wave, and the legend of "36 bridges and 72 kilns". They are all charming. In addition, Jinxi has successively launched a series of folk museums such as antiques, purple sand, coins, root carvings, strange stones, astronomy, seal cutting and calligraphy inscriptions.
Qiandeng town
Qiandeng Ancient Town, with a history of more than 2,500 years, is full of white walls and black tiles. Up to now, the chessboard pattern of "land and water parallel", "river street adjacent" and the quaint style of "small bridge with flowing water" are still preserved. The ancient town still preserves the buildings of the Ming, Qing and Republic of China.
This is the birthplace of Kunqu Opera and the silk and bamboo in the south of the Yangtze River, the ancient hometown, and the ninth generation of Tao Yuanming, Sun Taoxian, was also born here. There is a pawnshop in the town. Shiban Street in Ming and Qing Dynasties is "a must in the south of the Yangtze River". It is the longest and most complete Shiban Street in the province, stretching for 2 kilometers. "Stepping on bluestone, the sky is blue above your head".
There are Enbukuji and Jade Buddha Hall under the Qinfeng Pagoda.
Quanfujiang temple
Quanfu Lecture Hall was built in the Song and Yuan Dynasties by Zhou Digong, a native of the village.
Built on the lake, the temple is one of the eight ancient scenic spots in Zhouzhuang. Unfortunately, it was destroyed by disasters and rebuilt in recent years.
It's far and wide, adjacent to South Lake, with few tourists and quite quiet. Occasionally, tourists ring bells, which really means meditation.
