Taiwei, an ancient official name. In 221 BC, Qin Shihuang Ying Zheng established the Qin Dynasty, with the Taiwei, the Prime Minister, and the Yushi Dafu as the three princes. Among them, the Taiwei is in charge of the world's troops and horses, which can be said to be a high-power position. Therefore, in fact, no one held the position of Taiwei during the Qin Dynasty. In the twenty-seventh year of Emperor Guangwu's reign (51 years), Da Sima was changed to Taiwei. During the Eastern Han Dynasty, Taiwei, Situ and Sikong were the three princes. By the end of the Han Dynasty and the Three Kingdoms period, although the Taiwei did not hold actual military power, those who could hold the post of Taiwei were often ministers with high qualifications. Compared with Shu Han and Soochow, Cao Wei's Taiwei was a permanent official position. That is to say, in the history of Cao Wei, there were eleven Taiwei. In the first year of Huangchu (220 years), after Cao Pi became emperor, he paid homage to Taiwei and was granted the title of Marquis of Shouxiang. In this regard, in the author's opinion, although Jia Xu did not explicitly support Cao Pi, when Cao Pi and Cao Zhi were fighting, Jia Xu cited the examples of Yuan Shao and Liu Biao, which became one of the reasons why Cao Cao was determined to pass the throne to Cao Pi. .
