What is the origin of calligraphy?

Origin: Calligraphy is the art of writing Chinese characters. According to modern textual research, regarding the origin of China characters, it is generally believed that the characters were created in the "Yangshao Culture Period" in the middle reaches of the Yellow River in China, about five or six thousand years ago. Yangshao culture was first discovered in Yangshao Village, Shengshan, Henan Province in 192 1, hence its name. In the past 40 years, there have been many discoveries. 1954, a large number of pottery were unearthed at Yangshao site in Anbanpo, Xi 'an, and different symbols were often engraved outside their mouths. 1959, written symbols of Yangshao culture were also found in Dawenkou, Shandong Province.
