Official script is an important style in the evolution of Chinese characters. The strokes of Lishu are relatively simple, with standardized structure, stable shape, horizontal and vertical, and coordinated strokes. Therefore, it is most suitable for children's beginners, because it conforms to children's naive mentality and also meets the requirements of primary school Chinese teachers for writing, that is, horizontal and vertical. In the calligraphy style, only official script and seal script are horizontal and vertical, while regular script is horizontal and oblique. Most regular scripts are about 5- 10 degrees, and some are above 20 degrees, such as Liu Ti and European style. It is difficult for children to adapt when they are beginners. Practice has proved that learning official script for one year and then writing regular script for half a year is much better than learning regular script for two years directly. In other words, it takes two years from the beginning of regular script, and you can only write at a general level, starting directly from official script, learning official script for one year and regular script for half a year. Both books can be written better, which I have verified in my years of teaching.
