In 77 BC, when the Han Dynasty was in full swing, Wang Ji was transferred from Qibin County to the fifth captain of Changyi Wang Mi, and rose from Qibin to Wu Pin, which was a rapid rise. But Ji Wang is sad. Although he was promoted, he worked under Liu He, the moody and dissolute grandson of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, and had to work with a group of villains who were good at sowing dissension and gossiping.
At this time, he met an old man and he took him out of the maze. They hit it off and chatted happily. Wang Ji poured out his own situation and troubles one by one. The old man gave Wang Ji three words, "Speak slowly!"
From then on, Wang kept in mind the old man's teachings, worked hard, thought twice before acting, lived safely in the undercurrent of Changyi, and saved the day several times. Wang Ji, who was low-key and diligent, was appointed as an remonstrator by Xuan Di and Liu Xun, Emperor Gaozu, in 73 BC, specializing in commenting on political affairs and impeaching dereliction of duty officials. Wang Ji became an important official in the DPRK and held a high position.
