Chen Wenliang, born in Sheyang, Jiangsu Province in 1953, is the executive deputy secretary of China Hard Pen Calligraphy Association, director of research department of China Hard Pen Calligraphy Association, member of China Calligraphers Association, director of China Great Calligraphy series, dean of the Painting and Calligraphy Institute of Hengxing College of China Hard Pen Calligraphy Association, and former chief economist of Shandong Administration for Industry and Commerce. I loved literary creation and calligraphy since I was a child. I joined the army in 197 and was awarded the rank of "Senior Colonel of China People's Liberation Army". I have been engaged in drafting military documents for more than 3 years, and I have learned the writing skills of hard pen and brush. During this period, I studied the famous calligraphy posts, monuments, poems and quatrains of many famous ancient calligraphers such as Wang Xizhi, Wen Zhiming, Zhao Mengfu, Mi Fei, Sun Guoting, Wang Duo, etc., especially the works of Wang Xizhi, a calligrapher, whose words are graceful and elegant, and his strokes are like "Turbulent water leads people through" and his words are like "A cliff closes a house". His calligraphy draws on the "running script" and "cursive script" among the four books, and is self-contained.
