My story with Chinese characters

Our lives are inseparable from Chinese characters, because we have to deal with Chinese characters almost every day. Chinese characters have become an indispensable part of our daily life. We need it when doing homework; we also need it when communicating with others; we also need it when reading books.

I remember that when I was in kindergarten, there were many stories about Chinese characters. Once, when the two big words "Proud" appeared on the TV screen, I innocently pointed at them and said loudly to my father: "White elephant!" Before I could react, my father suddenly burst into laughter. I was puzzled by his laughter. Dad told me afterwards that those two words were not "white elephant" but "proud".

Later I entered the first grade and wrote my name as "Tong Zijie" in a Chinese language test. When the teacher handed out the test papers, he shouted "Tong Zijie" several times, but no one came up to get the results. And I sat in my seat and thought: Anyway, my name is not "Tong Zijie". Why do you have to go up and get your transcript? I turned around and thought: That’s not right either! There seems to be no one named "Tong Zijie" in our class! Could it be that those are my test papers. Thinking of this, I quickly ran to the podium desk, picked up the exam paper and took a look. It turned out that the exam paper was really mine.

After this experience, I became cautious. But I still often make mistakes. I accidentally wrote "rooster" as "fenchi", "hen" as "every chicken", and "teacher" as "old handsome". It turned out that I made the mistake because I was not careful and did not take it seriously.

From then on, I studied seriously, saw Chinese characters clearly, traveled in the kingdom of Chinese characters, and experienced the convenience and enlightenment that Chinese characters bring to our lives.
