Xingtan, Confucius lecture hall. The plaque hanging in the middle of the front eaves was inscribed by Mr. Huang, a famous calligrapher. Most of the couplets calligraphy works in Fengshan Academy are written by domestic first-class calligraphers and local calligraphers, which shows the specifications, grades and tastes of the Academy. In the center of Xingtan Temple stands a statue of Confucius carved from camphor trees 500 years ago. As one of the greatest thinkers in the world, Confucius is respected by people all over the world. Now there are hundreds of Confucius Institutes in various countries. Coincidentally, on the same day that the inauguration ceremony of Fengshan Academy was held on June 20 10/0, CCTV reported that a statue of Confucius was erected in front of the National Museum on the east side of Tiananmen Square in Beijing. The reconstruction of Fengshan Academy will have a far-reaching impact on restoring the historical features of Hai 'an, protecting the traditional culture of Hai 'an, increasing the civilized atmosphere of Hai 'an and condensing the spirit of Hai 'an citizens.
