Introduction of scenic spots in Yuetan Park:
Yuetan Park is located in the west of Nanlishi Road and south of Yuetan North Street in Xicheng District. Yuetan, formerly known as Xiyuetan, is one of the five largest altars in Beijing. Built in the 9th year of Jiajing in Ming Dynasty (1530), it is the place where the emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties sacrificed the night gods (moon) and the stars in the sky at the autumn equinox, covering an area of 120 mu. The bell tower, Tianmen, Shenku and other ancient buildings are well preserved. It is a cultural relic protection unit in Beijing.
A large number of pines and cypresses have been planted in Yuetan Park, and the ancient buildings have been restored. The bell tower, Tianmen, Shenku and other ancient buildings are well preserved. 1983, the newly-built scenic spots are the Moon, Moon Monument Gallery, Double Ring Moon Pool, Guanghan Bridge and the Goddess Chang'e flying to the moon Sculpture. There are Tianxiang Garden, Lanyue Pavilion, Yue Ji Pavilion, Shuangxin Pavilion, Guiting and other scenic spots. Precious ornamental trees have been planted, such as Borneo, Wu Tong, pomegranate and osmanthus. The theme of "Moon" is attached, which highlights the artistic conception of autumn and becomes a good place to enjoy the moon and visit in Beijing.

Yuetan Park is divided into North Park and South Park.
The North Park is characterized by ancient buildings with red bricks and green tiles and regular roads. Nanyuan Garden is a natural landscape garden with rock pools and winding garden roads. The buildings in Beiyuan mainly include the Moon Altar; North gate and west gate; West hall; South hall; Corner pavilion; East Hall of West Campus; South Hall of West Campus; Bell tower; Clothing hall, etc. The altar platform is a square platform in Shiroishi Castle, facing east, with a height of 1.5m and an area of 13m 2. Surrounded by a low wall, there are buildings such as a god library, a sacrificial pavilion, a sacrificial vessel library and a bell tower outside the wall.
South Garden, also known as Moon Garden or Moon Garden, has a new set of small gardens in the middle. The pattern of Nanyuan Garden is famous for its winding path of Shitan, and bonsai has been on display for many years. It consists of a painted north room with a balcony and a flower wall. Sweet-scented osmanthus is planted in the courtyard, which is named Tianxiang Courtyard for the meaning of "the osmanthus falls in the middle of the month and the clouds are fragrant outside". There is an open-air music teahouse, where famous songs such as Moonlight Song and Moonlight Night on the Spring River are played, and the moonlight party is held for sightseeing and moon appreciation. At night, there are colorful musical voice-controlled fountains to introduce people into the "Dissolved Moonlight Night". There is a hill covered with pine and cypress in the northeast corner of Nanyuan Park, and an open-air hall is built at the top of the hill for people to climb and enjoy the cool in summer. There is also a hill in the south of the northwest corner, and an ancient pavilion with colorful paintings is built on each hill, named Lan Yue Pavilion and Yue Ji Pavilion. Climb high and overlook the whole park. At the northern foot of Nanshan, there is a delicate bridge. There is a waterfall pouring into the pool by the bridge, and the statue of "Goddess the Goddess Chang'e flying to the moon" is carved in the pool. There is an open-air grass altar on the south side of Tianxiang Garden, with several stone rabbits on it, which means "wide cold" with Tianxiang Garden.
There are 76 inscriptions on the 200-meter-long wall of Yuetan Park, which are poems written by modern calligraphers and written by literati chanting the moon. & gt
