The first contact in my memory was at the Spring Festival Friendship Association organized by Guizhou Calligraphers Association in 2007. Wu Yong showed me one of his books, which collected some photos of his calligraphy and photography. Looking through this concise booklet, I got to know Wu Yong for the first time, and also understood his aesthetic orientation and pursuit. Talking about his recent study plan, he said that he wanted to do some exploration in Cao Zhang, hoping to absorb it in his future calligraphy creation. After listening to his story and praising Ken, I know the difficulties he will encounter when he sets foot in this legal post. "Ping Fu Tie" is praised by experts as the ancestor of the world's legal posts. This post has 9 lines and 84 words, with strange brushwork and scrawled handwriting. The world always appreciates it with magical eyes, and few teachers learn it. However, despite many difficulties, Wu Yong was able to make progress. He wants to find "Jin Baihe" on this paper and open up a new territory. His courage and vision are really appreciated. In this interview, I was impressed by Wu Yong as a simple, intelligent and studious young scholar with great development potential. In June 2008, we met again at the opening ceremony of "Guizhou Fine Arts Competition". This competition is a provincial-level professional artistic level competition organized by the Department of Culture of Guizhou Province to celebrate the 30th anniversary of reform and opening up and fully display the achievements of literary and artistic development and talent team construction in Guizhou Province. Wu Yong won the first prize in this competition. In the exhibition hall, I noticed Wu Yong's award-winning work, which is a work by Cao Zhang, presented in the form of pages, and the writing content is selected from and copied from Song Ci. From this finely crafted work, I conveyed the spirit and charm he absorbed from Ping Fu Tie, and put it into the text structure of SHEN WOO Fu, Shi Song, Ji Zhang and Wang Xizhi's Seventeen Tie, simplifying the complex. His works embody the aesthetic style that he admires and yearns for: lofty and simple, concise and concise, which is worthy of being tasted and chewed by people. This laurel, for him, is another flower picked on the way to learn books. As the saying goes, gold always shines, and talents always reveal themselves. This common sense has been effectively confirmed by the young Wu Yong. The hard work of cultivation brought him the joy of harvest. These two years can be described as the golden age of Wu Yong's fruitful achievements in calligraphy creation. His works have been frequently selected into provincial and national calligraphy exhibitions, and his awards and exhibition records have been scanned: his works won the first prize of the Second National Cursive Calligraphy Exhibition, the first prize of the First National Page Calligraphy Exhibition, the top prize of the Fourth National Calligraphy Exhibition-the Top Ten Excellent Calligraphy Awards, and the first Yongle Palace International Painting and Calligraphy Art Festival in Ruicheng, China. Exhibitions: The 9th National Calligraphy Seal Cutting Exhibition, the 1st National Cursive Calligraphy Exhibition, and Thousands of Works by Famous Calligraphers in China ... These awards and honors can be said to be second to none. The first prize of the 1st National Album Exhibition is the first breakthrough of calligraphers in our province in the "Big Three" national exhibition sponsored by China Calligraphy Association, and the achievements are hard-won. Wu Yong, 1975, a native of Liupanshui City, Guizhou Province. He used to be an editor and journalist in news organizations, and now he works in Liupanshui Hydropower Survey and Design Institute. Wu Yong, who likes to scribble on paper since he was a child, has no family background and no teacher's guidance when learning calligraphy. He said: the biggest regret of learning calligraphy is that there is no teacher, so I have taken many detours. With the advent of the information network era, it provides him with a brand-new way of learning. He met many friends in the calligraphy field online, obtained a lot of calligraphy materials and information, and applied them to his study and creation. This convenient and interactive way of learning broadens his artistic vision. It should be said that the network has played a great role in contemporary calligraphy education and should not be underestimated. It enables a group of young learners to grow rapidly through online learning. Wu Yong has a wide range of learning calligraphy and many interests. He is not limited to one school. He read the Great Seal, Han Li, bamboo slips, silk books and famous inscriptions since the Jin Dynasty, and drew nutrition from many aspects. This learning method is of great benefit to the horizon and knowledge reserve of the rich. Lower case is one of the most practical basic calligraphy styles in ancient times, which occupies a large proportion in the lives of the ancients. However, today's living environment has been far away from small letters. With the disappearance of the realistic context, Wu Yong has a special liking for lower case letters and has his own unique views on their development. He said in a six-person talk on the creation of contemporary lower case letters held by Youth Calligraphy magazine: "Integrating and sublimating the artistry of lower case letters is the only way to inherit and develop. Lowercase letters are inclusive and plastic, so they should be more artistic. Facing more and more perfect calligraphy information, we can make lowercase letters more expressive. For the creation of small letters, I strive to pursue the fluency of the overall charm of the work and watch kung fu at will. " His small letters were first adopted by Huang Daozhou and Fu Shan, and later found in the silk script Xiao Zhuan and Qin bamboo slips. Look at his works in small letters, which are full of antique interest and aesthetic characteristics of the times. We are in an era of high-speed operation and rapid change. Being able to learn calligraphy is undoubtedly a luxury that everyone can enjoy. This luxury promotion depends on personal understanding, support of study, accumulation of time and purity of mind. Wu Yong is a scholar who is good at thinking and full of spiritual elements. In addition to practicing calligraphy with inkstone, he also likes writing and photography, pays attention to reading and learning, learns from nature when going abroad, and visits famous people. The preparation of these extra-word kung fu broadens his horizons, and his pen kung fu is also good at it. His articles, such as Travels of Soochow, Journey to Beijing, South of Colorful Clouds-My Camera and I have been there, and The Feeling of "Reply to the Post" when Gao Gu Qi Yi came out of the dust and landed, are light and lively, without being artistic, and express his thoughts directly. To appreciate his photographic works, we should not only grasp the technical aspects such as framing, lighting and speed, but also pay attention to the expression of thoughts and artistic feelings. Many of his photos of scenery and ethnic customs have a certain artistic level and are quite enjoyable. At the same time, the camera can pay attention to the people's livelihood, and it is really commendable to have this feeling. In 2007, when he was in Spring Festival travel rush, he took photos of a group of migrant workers returning home. These photos are true and vivid, reflecting the hardships of migrant workers living outside, their anxiety and helpless attitude during the Spring Festival. That's a group of good photos with their own thoughts and feelings. In life, Wu Yong is active, respects teachers, and books lovers like to associate with him. He neglected his achievements and honors. He believes: "winning the exhibition award is not the ultimate goal of learning calligraphy, but a way to exchange and learn with you." Calligraphy is not everything to me. There are many more important things in my life. " He also said: "Calligraphy is the eternal light in my heart. Writing is a habit for me, just like some people get up early to exercise, while others stay up late to play cards. So I went to the ancients every day and said, "The elders who seek wood must have roots;" Those who want to flow far away will dig their springs. "Wu Yong is now in the golden age of life, with a long way to go and unlimited future development. I wish him to master himself in his future artistic practice, constantly improve the purity and thickness of his heart and works, endure loneliness, study deeply, continue to sail in the ink sea and find his dreams.
