Wang Xizhi (about 321-379), Yu Yishao, Lang of the Eastern Jin Dynasty Shan is from Linyi. His family was one of the few wealthy noble families in the Jin Dynasty. His grandfather Wang Zheng was Shangshu Lang. His father, Wang Kuang, was the governor of Huainan. He once proposed that the Jin Dynasty cross the river and establish the Eastern Jin Dynasty on the left side of the river. Wang Yizhi's uncle, Wang Dao, was even more famous and was the prime minister of the Eastern Jin Dynasty.

And his other uncle, Wang Dun, was the military commander of the Eastern Jin Dynasty. The Langya Wang family was extremely powerful in the Eastern Jin Dynasty and was only prosperous and noble. Because of this, Wang Yizhi became a secretary as soon as he became an official. Later he joined the army for Yu Liang, then moved to Ningyuan general, Jiangzhou governor, and finally became the right chariot general and Kuaiji internal historian. So people also called him Wang Youjun. Wang Yizhi was frank and informal, and he had no desire for honor and profit since he was a child. "Shishuo Xinyu" contains a beautiful talk about Wang Zhi's confession.

Another major gentry in the Jin Dynasty wanted to marry into the Wang family, so they sent their disciples to the Wang family to choose the marriage. Son-in-law, Director Wang asked someone to go to the east chamber to observe his nephews one by one. After the disciples returned, they reported to Du Jian: All the young men of the Wang family are good. They heard that the visitor was sent by the steward to choose his son-in-law. He had a reserved manner.

He was eating openly on the bed, as if he didn't know it was happening. - Later, when I inquired about it, I found out that the person who had eaten openly was Wang Yizhi, so I married my daughter to him. Judging from this anecdote, Wang Yizhi has had an open-minded character since he was a child and rarely worries about trivial matters. Perhaps this is the reason why his calligraphy is vigorous and lively, with a free spirit and a drunken demeanor

. Because of this allusion, later people used "Dong Bed Tan Belly? Dong Bed -" as a good name for a son-in-law, or called other people's sons-in-law "Ling Tan"
