China's calligraphy has a long history, unique style, many famous artists, and a rich and colorful treasure house of calligraphy art, which is the quintessence of the Chinese nation and has attracted worldwide attention. In order to meet the urgent needs of beginners to learn traditional calligraphy and the needs of calligraphy lovers to learn and appreciate it, we selected excellent representative inscriptions from various calligraphy styles in the past dynasties, and invited Professor Hu Meisheng, a famous calligrapher, to compile four calligraphy styles in the form of couplets loved by the masses, which were published by our society and solemnly recommended to readers. In order to meet the needs of combining with the current society and real life, the words in the inscription are specially selected.

Brief introduction of the author
Hu Meisheng, a native of Junan County, Shandong Province, was born in February 1928. Engaged in calligraphy art teaching in normal schools for many years. He used to be the president of the Calligraphy Art Teaching Research Association of Heilongjiang Normal School and served as a calligraphy art teaching material.
Editor in chief. The painting and calligraphy "Koukou" was exhibited in Rong Baozhai and listed in the list of contemporary painters in Rong Baozhai. Since 1980, he has been invited to Japan for painting and calligraphy exhibitions and lectures four times, and has had many exchanges with Japanese painters and painters.
His works have been published in magazines and newspapers such as Zhiyuan and Yun Sheng. 1988, to celebrate the anniversary of the conclusion of the Sino-Japanese Treaty of Peace and Friendship 10, a two-person painting and calligraphy exhibition was held in Heilongjiang Art Museum in China and Iwaki City in Japan.
He was invited to attend an exhibition in Japan, and at the same time, he published the Collection of Paintings and Calligraphy of Hu Meisheng and Tian Jiuqi, two Chinese and Japanese Friendship People.
