Calligrapher Xu Hongji, male, Han nationality,1born in Puning, Guangdong Province in August, 197 1 year, joined the China * * * production party in October, 1975, and graduated from the Chinese Department of Sun Yat-sen University.
Xu Hongji, a calligrapher, is currently a director of China Calligraphers Association, a member of the Education Working Committee of the 6th China Calligraphers Association, a member of the Standing Committee of Guangzhou CPPCC, a director of the Literature and History Committee, a vice chairman of Guangdong Calligraphers Association, a chairman of Guangzhou Calligraphers Association, an art consultant of Guangzhou Painting Academy, an outstanding calligrapher of Guangdong Bookstore, an honorary chairman of Guangzhou Calligraphy and Painting Association and an honorary president of Guangzhou Daily Painting and Calligraphy Institute.
Calligrapher Xu Hongji was invited to participate in the "Third Korean-Chinese Calligraphy Masters Invitational Exhibition" and went to Japan to participate in the Guangzhou Fukuoka Calligraphy Exchange Exhibition;
Calligrapher Xu Hongji published Xu Hongji's Calligraphy Collection and Selected Works of Famous Calligraphers in Guangzhou-Selected Works of Xu Hongji. He once held a solo calligraphy exhibition in Guangdong Painting Academy and a "Seven-person Exhibition" in Guangzhou Art Expo Academy. His calligraphy attaches importance to inheriting tradition. Li Shu learned Shi Gu's Mount Tai Diamond Sutra and Yan Zhenqing's regular script, and he Ji Shao and Yu Youren learned running script.
