Slightly relaxed after the Revolution of 1911. ) When I was a child, I worked in a temple and helped the sand table in the temple. The master who called it the fairy was sentenced to bad luck. And the dragon, as a pen for English painting and calligraphy, is just like painting sand, and it bends strangely. When I moved to Shanghai, I was a guest at Yan's home in Xiaolong Road Pavilion. The host is very talented. If I am a guest, all the guests despise my background, shame and friendship, and Wu Changshuo is the only one. Zuo Ying lives on Tibet Road in hankou road today, and there is a "Yangfen Mountain" nearby. During the Spring Festival, the Spring Festival couplets are "old horses crouching, foreign ghosts are next to each other". He was poor and rented a small building. Once, Chang Shuo went to see him, but he couldn't open the door. He once wrote a poem, "Chai Men doesn't knock at noon, and chickens and dogs sleep together."
Pu Hua should have passed the New Year's exam, and the handwriting on the paper is very inconsistent. The examiner didn't like it, and he got the "fourth-class second interview" and barely got a scholar. He makes a living by selling calligraphy and painting.
Pu Hua painted flowers in his early years, learning from ivy and poplar. In his later years, he painted with seal script, official script and cursive script. Bamboo painting is good at pulling out the top, painting is dry and waving to the sky, knives and axes split leaves, and wind and rain suddenly come; Landscape trees and stones, freely placed vertically, dripping with ink, are taken from Shi Tao and Xi Shi. His paintings are vigorous, magnificent and natural, and he is the most "frank" person in the early Shanghai painting world.
Because of the low social status and Geng Jie's personality, the song in the painting reads, "Autumn rain is coming, the wind is full of buildings, the ink is spitting in the chest, and a cold sound wakes up the afternoon dream, and the green rocks are among the bamboos." (titled "Zhu Lan") He is indifferent to the world, and he often paints bamboo with the theme of "going straight to the sky" to show his mind. He is also good at poetry. After his death, his friends collected his work, entitled "Drinking more grass in Lotus Temple". Wu Changshuo wrote the preface and Mu An wrote the postscript. 1926 was published by Ding Fuzhi, and it's hard to find it now.
Mr. Wang has never had a beard or lied about his age in his life. After his death, his master found a seal "Geng Yinsheng" and knew that he was born in the tenth year of Qing Daoguang (1830) and died at the age of 82.
He has a bill for selling paintings, but he never cares about bargaining. As long as someone touches up the ink for him, or gives him some cigars, he will write freely. The painter knew that he liked wine, so he put a pot of wine next to the paper inkstone, and then the wine fell into ink and made a picture of Russia. He never feels sorry for himself, but wants something. When you get money, you will get drunk or fight with your neighbors. Sometimes I buy sauced ducks, hide them in wide sleeves, wander the streets, and drink while eating. People are surprised, he is calm, and sometimes people call him "Puyi Tower".
Pu Hua befriended Wu Changshuo, He Rumu, Xu Jingzhou and others. He is free and easy and is not good at dealing with it. But once you are in power, you will be more agile than usual. One year, a Japanese friend held a painting and calligraphy party in Liu Santing Garden and invited Mr. Wang to paint. There is no big table in the room, and the host spelled it out in Japanese style. He planned to draw a distant mountain first, and accidentally, thick ink dripped on the paper. Master frightened, Pu Hua never panic. He mistakenly turned thick ink into a close-up view, and swept out the distant mountains with light ink, which was ingenious and amazing. It was crowded with people, and the Japanese were very heavy.
19 1 1 In the summer of, Mr. Wang died suddenly in his apartment. The cause of death was deep sleep, tooth loss and sore throat. It was not until the coffin was buried that he found himself depressed, and only found a nephew who worked as a sedan chair bearer in Jiaxing. Wu Changshuo, He Rumu, Xu Xingzhou and other friends arranged funerals, and Shen Rujin wrote an epitaph mourning: "If you fall behind, you will die with the guests."
Now, Shanghai painting circle has developed into a place full of flourishing leaves and flowers, and this former artist who expresses his spirit and feelings has been away from this world for 92 years. Philosophers should not be lost for a long time, but we should learn from his noble character and artistic creativity.
