Let's talk about Li Yu again-the wish of the heavenly religion is contrary to the body, only because of the wrong emperor's family.

I can't help feeling sorry for myself after reading Biography of Li Yu's Ci these days. Life has given Li Yu a unique life track, and his ci also presents different colors. Li Yu, formerly known as Jia Cong, was named Zhongshan Hermit, Zhongfeng Hermit, An Baili layman and Lianfeng layman, the sixth son of Tang Chaoyuan Zong Lijing, and the last monarch of the Southern Tang Dynasty.

In the second year (96 1), Li followed in his father's footsteps and became the ruler of the Southern Song Dynasty. However, due to the abolition of the emperor's name in the Southern Song Dynasty at that time, he became a vassal of the later Zhou Dynasty. Soon after Li Yu acceded to the throne, he respected the Song Dynasty as orthodox, paid tribute to Zhao Kuangyin, who had just established the Song Dynasty, in order to protect peace, and personally wrote a humble statement, expressing his willingness to abide by the way of ministers. Judging from the current situation, Li Yu's move is not allowed; But when it comes to backbone, that is, people have not moved forward but their knees have been bent.

Li Yu's life has always been "Heaven goes against his body". As a prince, he was hated by his brother Li Hongyi, that is, Chu Jun. According to historical records, Li Yu was "kind and filial, good at writing calligraphy and painting, and full of teeth." . Double pupils, that is, one eye has two pupils. Before Li Yu, only, Shun and Xiang Yu had "heavy pupils", or became emperors or saints, and Xiang Yu, at worst, was a hegemon, which could compete with Liu Bang. This is auspicious, but due to the particularity of his identity, it will bring him endless disasters, because his brother Li Hongyi is "suspicious and strict". Although he is Chu Jun, he is not loved by his father Li Jing. Although Li Yu is the sixth son, he is a veritable second son in adulthood because the first four brothers all died early.

Li Hongji was suspicious and violent. He killed his uncle for the throne. In order to avoid disaster, Li Yu's poems show that he has no intention to compete for the position of Chu Jun and is willing to live in seclusion. In addition, we should guard against another brother who wants to compete with him for the throne. Li Yu's growth process has to be said to be tortuous and dangerous. Unfortunately, Li Hongji died of illness, and Li Yu naturally became Chu Jun and inherited his father.

But it also started Li Yu's unfortunate life. At this time, the southern Tang dynasty has been tottering. Just established the Northern Song Dynasty, ambitious to end the turmoil in the Five Dynasties and Ten Countries, destroyed four of the six countries in the south of the Yangtze River at that time, leaving only Wu and Nantang. As early as the reign of Li Jing, the Southern Tang Dynasty had abolished the title of emperor and called itself "the Lord of the South of the Yangtze River". After Li Yu arrived, he was more humble than his father. He wrote to Zhao Kuangyin saying that he was willing to submit to the Northern Song Dynasty and pay tribute every year in order to get a corner of peace. But Zhao Kuangyin refused, and built a "Lixian Pavilion" in Bianjing, hoping that Li Yu would come to surrender. Li Yu didn't have the courage to refuse and didn't want to give in. He could only send his younger brother Li with a lot of tributes to make peace. Unfortunately, Li was taken hostage and never came back. Li Yu didn't have the courage to rescue, so she could only continue to indulge in debauchery and paralyze herself. But what should come will come. In 975 AD, Song Bing crossed the Yangtze River and arrived at the gate of Jinling. Li Yu did not have the courage to send troops to fight death, nor did he dare to honor his promise of defeat and self-immolation. Finally, he gave in.

After being captured in Tokyo, Zhao Kuangyin repeatedly ordered Li Yu to disobey orders. After following Li Yu to Tokyo, Zhou Xiao was also occupied by Zhao Guangyi. Li Yu was placed in a small courtyard in Kaifeng City. He was not allowed to go in and out at will, nor was he allowed to follow the visitors, leaving only an elderly soldier to guard him. Accustomed to a luxurious life, Li Yu fell into purgatory from the sky and didn't have enough money to pay for his large expenses. The pain of national subjugation tormented his heart and made him sleepless. In desperation, he can only send his feelings to wine, hoping to paralyze himself. But this is undoubtedly to quench thirst by drinking poison. Slowly, the pain increased instead of decreased. Li Yu gradually forgot his status as the king of national subjugation, and even expressed his hatred of national subjugation in his words, which aroused Zhao Guangyi's vigilance. Finally, when he wrote the word "Yu Meiren", Zhao Guangyi was killed by him and finally poisoned by morning medicine. This poison died very tragically because the painful body was bent into a bow.

Li Yu is proficient in calligraphy, painting, melody and poetry, especially in ci. Li Yu's ci has inherited the tradition of Huajian poets such as Wen and Wei Zhuang since the late Tang Dynasty, and has been influenced by Li Jing and Feng Yansi. Its language is bright, vivid, sincere and distinctive. After the national subjugation, his ci was characterized by a wide range of themes and profound meanings, and it was unique among the five pronouns in the late Tang Dynasty, which had a far-reaching influence on the later ci circles.

As a scholar, Li Yu is undoubtedly a master of the rhythm of poetry and painting. But as an emperor, Li Yu is an out-and-out escapist. As a man, he really can't be called a bloody man. Since ancient times, in order to protect two things, my hero will fight to the death-one is the land under his feet and the other is the woman in his arms. Li Yu was born in He Huan? You can only live in chaos by drinking poison to quench your thirst. However, those sober days are even more difficult.

The original conjunctions in Yu Meiren are beautiful images, but they turn into a gloomy picture. What runs through it is the feeling of Li Yu, the king of national subjugation, after chewing the pain repeatedly. Mr. Tang Guizhang said in The Trial of Li Houzhu: "As the ruler of the country, his wealth and splendor reached the extreme, but after the national subjugation, his wealth and splendor faded, and he could not bear to look back, and his sorrow reached the extreme. It is precisely because he experienced such extreme joys and sorrows that his literary achievements are particularly brilliant and great. In happy words, we see beautiful flowers, and in sad words, we see blood and tears. " Wang Guowei judged that he was "born in the palace and grew up in the hands of women", saying that he meant that Sakyamuni and Christ were responsible for human sins, that is to say, his works wrote the feelings of all human beings in ancient and modern times.

As a scholar, Li Yu is undoubtedly successful. But as a monarch, he was doomed to failure from the beginning.
