all one's life

1956 to 1986, Mr. Wang Zhaoru served as the arts and crafts designer and deputy director of Qinzhou color printing factory. From 1987, he was transferred to Qinzhou Cultural Center as the deputy director, specializing in painting, calligraphy, seal cutting and arts and crafts. He was a member of the Standing Committee of the Fifth, Sixth and Seventh National People's Congress of Qinzhou, the former CPPCC.

In 2002, Mr. Wang Zhaoru was invited to hold exhibitions and lectures on personal calligraphy and Ni Xing pottery seal cutting in Singapore 1986, 1999 and the United States, which was widely praised by the world. Dozens of overseas news media, such as American World TV, Australian Daily and Singapore Lianhe Zaobao, have made special reports on it.

Mr Wang Zhaoru was born in a scholarly family. He inherited the family education and became attached to poetry and calligraphy. For decades, he has been engaged in arts and crafts and devoted himself to the study of ancient Chinese characters. He studied under masters such as Shen Peng, Mai and Li Tianma. He is very popular in calligraphy, attacking four-body calligraphy and seal cutting. Regular script is dignified and elegant, rigorous and precise; The grass is smart and detached; Lishu is simple and noble, and Fengshen is rich; Gold is vigorous and powerful, concise and ups and downs; Oracle inscriptions are handsome and steep, and the combination of knife and pen; Seal cutting can be traced back to Qin Xi and Han bamboo slips, and involves various schools in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. His book style not only carries forward the traditional art of China, but also contains his unique artistic style. Obviously, he made the past serve the present, learned from others, and formed his own style. His works are full of book spirit and artistic charm. He has won many awards at major national and international book fairs. His works were inscribed in the Analects of Confucius in Qufu and collected by dozens of overseas art departments such as the United States, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, France, Germany, Thailand and South Korea. He also published many papers on calligraphy, including Wang Zhaoru's calligraphy collection. His artistic achievements have been recorded in many large-scale classic works, such as China Contemporary Calligraphy Art Boutique, Collection of Works of World Contemporary Calligraphy and Painting Masters, Who's Who in America, etc.

Mr. Wang Zhaoru has a unique experience in Ni Xing ceramics, and the inscriptions he carved are simple and elegant, full of charm of Shang and Zhou bronze inscriptions.

Wang Zhaoru crossed the ancient times and reached a freer and more ideal realm in his artistic creation. He carved all kinds of calligraphy on Ni Xing Tao, one of the four famous pottery in China, and created a large number of Ni Xing Tao carving works with distinctive artistic personality by combining pen and knife, which realized his long-cherished wish to promote the "Millennium ancient ceramics" in Qinzhou and promoted the artistic sublimation and development of famous pottery.

His works have been exhibited overseas for many times. Among them, the Ni Xing bottle of "Hundred Blessings and White Dews" was selected as a gift by the Guangxi People's Congress delegation to the 10th National People's Congress, and was personally presented by the Party Secretary and Chairman of the Autonomous Region in Beijing, which was highly appreciated by experts. In terms of pottery modeling design, he devoted himself to research, integrating the past with the present, and bringing forth the new; In the aspect of pottery decoration, I broadened my thinking, and applied my half-century four-body calligraphy and seal cutting to Ni Xing pottery, which injected touching content, enriched the decorative effect, deepened the cultural connotation, endowed lifeless pottery with fresh soul, and improved the artistic charm and collection value of the works. In 20 12, his "Eight Scenes and Eight Styles of Calligraphy Bottle in Qinzhou" won the "Nomination Award of Judges" in the 4th China Art Ceramics Competition of China Arts and Crafts Association, which was a high affirmation of his ceramic attainments.

Among Wang Zhaoru's many disciples, the most authentic one is his daughter Wang Zhuo, who inherited her family studies at a young age and was gifted in calligraphy and pottery, winning numerous prizes in national competitions.
