Zhao's calligraphy works

Zhao Ceng held a personal calligraphy exhibition. The works on display were healthy and progressive in content, diverse in form, elegant in taste and distinctive in theme. Although he has retired, he still maintains youthful vitality and persistent pursuit, and fully promotes calligraphy, the quintessence of the country. This spirit fully embodies his values of life and his love for calligraphy art. General Zhao's works have also participated in many large-scale exhibitions inside and outside the military, such as "Old General's Painting and Calligraphy Friendship Pen Club", "Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea", "Veteran Square Array Series Exhibition", "Chinese Army Soul Series Exhibition", "Hundred Generals Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition * * Celebrating the 60th Birthday of the Motherland of Mulan" and so on. He indulged in flying and splashing ink, and his paintings condensed heroism and ink-casting feelings, which fully showed the true colors of the older generation of soldiers. He helped the affected people tide over the difficulties in a special way of giving love in the charity sale of large-scale pen clubs for earthquake relief. His calligraphy is elegant and free and easy, and is highly respected by everyone. His works have been selected into more than 30 collections of paintings and calligraphy, such as Collection of Paintings and Calligraphy of Generals in the Republic of China, Collection of Paintings and Calligraphy of 100 Generals and 100 Famous Artists, or published in calligraphy and painting newspapers. Some of his works have been collected by cultural relics units, museums and revolutionary shrines in Beijing, Henan, Liaoning and Inner Mongolia. (Text/Yang)
