Zero Crossing is a poem written by Wen Tianxiang, Minister of Song Dynasty, in 1279. In the first two sentences of this poem, the poet recalled his life. The fourth sentence is closely related to "demotion" and clearly expresses the author's understanding of the present situation.

The last two sentences are the author's firm choice of his own destiny. The whole poem expresses passionate patriotic enthusiasm, cheerful dying festival and a life concept based on self-righteousness. It is a lofty embodiment of the traditional virtues of the Chinese nation.
