This exhibition shows nearly 100 calligraphy works created by Chen Hailiang in recent years, with rich styles, diverse shapes and diverse meanings. Among them, cursive works are the most powerful, straightforward, profound, complex and profound.

What Chen Hailiang pursues is not only the "transcendental" world in which the ancients "put their wisdom outside the bold and unconstrained, and set their minds on the innovation of statutes", but also consciously and firmly think about and explore the future path of calligraphy art in the critical period of the transformation and revival of traditional culture.

Chen Hailiang, born in Changzhou, Jiangsu from 65438 to 0968, studied under professors such as Wei Tianchi, Chen Zhongming, Ma Shida and Zhou Yufeng. Doctor of Literature, national first-class artist, director of the 8th China Calligraphers Association, member of the cursive script committee of China Calligraphers Association, professor of the training center of China Calligraphers Association, and doctoral supervisor of master students of China Academy of Fine Arts. ..

1992 graduated from the first undergraduate calligraphy major of the Academy of Fine Arts of Nanjing Normal University with a bachelor of arts. In 2006, he studied for a doctor's degree in calligraphy creation in China Academy of Fine Arts. In 2009, he received a doctor's degree and stayed in the hospital. 20 10 was awarded the title of "Top Ten Young Calligraphers in China" and "Thirty Excellent Contemporary Calligraphers in China", and served as the judge of "National Exhibition" of China Calligraphy Association and the judge of National Art Foundation for a long time.

His calligraphy is full of talent, boldness and literary spirit, which is profound in terms of book history, especially cursive script. Chen Hailiang cursive script originated in Ming and Qing Dynasties, especially benefited from Xu Wei's wild grass, so his cursive script emphasized the beauty of wild grass. In this respect, he consciously suppressed the expression of "two kings" that he mastered skillfully, and strived for the roughness and tension of lines, thus deducing the qi and potential of cursive script to a new height.
