In response, Guangdong Chongzheng Auction Co., Ltd. issued a "Statement on the Withdrawal of Lin Sijin's Related Lots" stating that the company strictly followed auction procedures for the collection and selection of lots. After verification, these lots were sold in 2005.
On the evening of the 13th, the Sichuan Provincial Museum issued the "Related Explanation on the Appearance of Cultural Relics in an Auction House in Guangdong", stating that after comparison, the auction items were stolen from the library of the museum on December 13, 2004. The stolen documents were reported to the public security organs at that time.
