Xie Hai has been deeply taught and influenced by his father since he was a child. His father was the first generation of people's teachers in China. Under his words and deeds, Xie Haier benefited a lot from his exposure. Under the guidance of his father, Xie Hai read poetry and books since he was a child, advocating the Confucian thoughts of "benevolence, righteousness, propriety, wisdom, trust, loyalty, filial piety, and forgiveness", and especially loved the art of Chinese calligraphy.
