Wang Duo's running script "Kulan Hua Fu Atlas"

Wang Duo (1592- 1652) was born in Henan. Painters in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties. His calligraphy is as famous as Dong Qichang's, and he is known as the "King of East, South and North".

In the second year of Ming Dynasty (1622), he was promoted by the examiner and entered imperial academy as the minister of rites. In the sixteenth year of Chongzhen (1643), Wang Duo was a college student in Dongge. In the seventeenth year of Chongzhen (1644, the first year of Qing Shunzhi), he was awarded a bachelor's degree in Shangshu and Guanhong Academy of Literature, plus a little prince protection, and died in his hometown during Qing Shunzhi (1652). He was buried in Luohe, Gongyi, Henan at the age of 61.
