Wen Wei, born in Sichuan, was deeply influenced by his family studies since childhood. She studied painting at the age of four and became a student at the age of five. She has won many awards in Sichuan and even the national youth painting and calligraphy competition. After graduating from university, he studied under the famous painter Cui Ruzhuo and graduated from China Academy of Fine Arts with a doctorate. Therefore, in the creation of calligraphy and painting, Wen Wei has always been on the right path, continuing a positive pulse, especially in the series of ladies' paintings and big paintings.
In this exhibition, Wen Wei brought 12 works by ladies, which she named "Women's History of Lin Wen" series, hoping to present a history of traditional women's literature in China through painting. "In this era, as a woman, I have such an opportunity to express myself freely. I feel sad when I look back on them in history. In this series, I have continuously accumulated relevant information and excavated traditional knowledge women and legendary women, including their influence on history. Therefore, creating this series is not only a discussion of painting techniques, but also an exploration and thinking of women's overall emotional thoughts. "
For example, Li Qingzhao, the state presented in her poems makes Wen Wei feel closer and closer, and the more she reads, the more creative she is, so there are many kinds of Yi 'an laity in her works. For example, when Wang Xizhi's teacher, Mrs. Wei, was teaching Wang Xizhi calligraphy, she explained to him how to write a "point", that is, to pull him to the edge of a cliff and tell him to fall from the sky. Therefore, Mrs. Wei, with a pen in her hand, looks gentle and free and easy. "Teacher Wei inspires students with natural phenomena and makes boring theories vivid and smart. I am also learning from her now. "
As a female painter, big painting is also a unique symbol of Wen Wei. Cui Ruzhuo once said: "In the history of China fine arts, a female painter painted such a big picture, it should be said that my disciple Wen Wei was the first person. She is not afraid to face Zhang Er's big paper with a pen, and she started in the right direction, which is rare. "
After reading Cui Ruzhuo's masterpiece "The Prosperous Age of Lotus Wind" for the Great Hall of the People, Wen Wei got the message and began to wander in the realm of big paintings. "I was very infected when I saw it. Later, during a holiday, I painted a batch, including three exhibited this time, which was also completed at that time. "
Great painting should be done in one go. Therefore, a painter should first have "Qi" and "Yi" in his chest. "Just like Li Bai's poems and songs, they are not abruptly suppressed, but naturally flow out, because he himself has this anger to send. Although drawing a big painting also needs brewing, conception and drafting, it can't be slow when painting, and the breath can be penetrated. " Wen Wei said.
Great verve comes from a high realm, and a high realm comes from a thick foundation. Wen Wei's legacy is manifested in her comprehensive understanding of China studies. Up to now, Wen Wei has been able to open his mouth to classic books such as Shu Pu and Qian Zi Wen. Even, she thinks that classic books have set up the basic framework of her outlook on life and art, and everything is clear, quiet and there will be no confusion. Therefore, in education, Wen Wei believes that the earlier you learn traditional culture, the better. To learn, you must start from a high starting point and learn the best things. "When I first recited Tang poetry, I entered it from Song of Eternal Sorrow and Pipa."
It is precisely because of his profound knowledge of Chinese studies that Wen Wei firmly believes that traditional wisdom can solve many problems in modern and contemporary times. Now is an excellent opportunity to promote traditional culture. Her mission is to spread Taoism through calligraphy and painting. Since her solo exhibition was held in Shenzhen on 20/0/4, her works have gone through more than ten cities and regions, and will continue to be exhibited at home and abroad this year, with new york and Los Angeles as the farthest places.
