Calligraphy copybook

1 If you really want to learn calligraphy, I suggest you buy copybooks instead of downloading them online. Because calligraphy for beginners requires copying, repeated practice, and red tracing when necessary. Although the Internet has improved now, it is not yet possible to do these things on a computer.

2. When beginners practice, it is best to start with strokes, then practice the structure, and then plan the layout. This process takes several years or even decades. You have to persist, and the essential condition is that you are interested in it.

3. Start by practicing regular script, and then running script. Yan Zhenqing and Liu Gongquan’s regular script are very good. For running script, choose Wang Xizhi or the four great masters of the Song Dynasty.
