He learned from others and devoted himself to studying Han Li and looking for ritual vessels. Zhang Qian's Shimen poems are solid and free, with a strong ancient rhyme. Later, he inherited the neatness and vitality of the official script of the late calligraphy master Liu Bingsen. Handsome and resolute, paying attention to the charm of momentum, pursuing cleanliness and fluency, making seal characters strictly observe the statutes and have a sincere and natural composition. In his works, he has both ancient brushwork and modern charm, and he is impassioned, domineering and Jianghu-like. He should be exquisite and elegant, meet the needs of the times, and not blindly cater to low tastes.
