Zhang Yaoshan's Contribution and Honor

Comrade Gala Mountain has a certain influence in China calligraphy circle. He participated in the national calligraphy exhibition for many times and won the first prize and the gold medal in the eight domestic book competitions, which won a high reputation for Lianyungang calligraphy industry.

After 1983, he was transferred to the standard cursive script of Yu Youren, and he learned Youqin in Before and After Examples and Wang Epitaph. From 65438 to 0987, he began to transition from the standard cursive script, and became fascinated with urgent chapters, replies, praises to teachers and other posts. His works won the gold medal in seven major national book competitions, and participated in the 4th National Book Fair, the 3rd China Youth Exhibition and the 1st Newcomer Works Exhibition. Biographies are included in Dictionary of Contemporary Calligraphers and Seal Carvers and China People's Yearbook 1989. Calligraphy Newspaper and Calligraphy Guide made special presentations. The representative work "Moonlit Night on a Spring River" and its creation were published in Calligraphy Newspaper on February 1995.

In 2003, in order to cooperate with Lianyungang's bid for the Olympic Games, Comrade Galashan spent half a year writing The Journey to the West in calligraphy, which was reported in detail by major domestic media. Invited by CCTV Channel 4, he was invited to sit in Gathering to promote Lianyungang and Huaguoshan to the world.

Zhang Yaoshan has made great contributions to the revitalization of Lianyungang calligraphy circle since he became the chairman of the calligraphers association in 2004. In 2005 and 2007, calligraphy exchange exhibitions were jointly held with Japan Daily Calligraphy Association and Hyogo Calligraphers Association for two consecutive years. Under his leadership, Lianyungang calligraphy circle occupies a high proportion in the same type of cities in China.
