Be more open-minded and pursue personalized calligraphy art
"Calligraphy begins with precepts, is longer than wisdom, and is proved by the source of mind, which is better than enlightenment. As for the extreme, it can be passed on by mouth and hand. " This is Wang Yanping's experience in learning calligraphy for most of his life. He said that the art of calligraphy should have roots and statutes, copy more, read more famous works, have its own feelings and form its own style in order to become a "home".
From May 8 to 20, Mo Yi-Wang Yanping Calligraphy Exhibition, an American writer, was held in Quanzhou Weisheng Wan Art Museum, with more than 80 latest calligraphy works on display. This is the first time that Wang Yanping has returned to spring to hold a solo calligraphy exhibition after leaving his hometown for 59 years. "Homesickness" is a major theme of this calligraphy exhibition. The overseas traveler's homesickness is reflected in his calligraphy works. He said: "whenever and wherever you find the moon, you can go back to your hometown, because your hometown is near the moon." In addition, he also shows calligraphy and traditional culture through his works.
