Fei Xinwo (1903.12-1992.5), whose scientific name is Si'en and whose courtesy name is Shengwu. Before the age of 30, he changed to a new self, with the pen name Liqian and the name Lizhai, from Huzhou, Zhejiang (one of the four famous penmen in China). Good at Chinese painting and calligraphy. He is a famous calligrapher and painter in modern my country and the most outstanding left-stroke calligrapher. In 1934, he studied at Shanghai Baie Painting School. He has successively served as art editor in the editorial office of Shanghai Wanye Bookstore, and as a first-class painter at the Jiangsu Traditional Chinese Painting Academy. His works include long scrolls "Embroidery Pictures" and "Grassland Pictures". He is the author of "How to Draw Brush Paintings", "How to Learn Calligraphy", "Beginners of Regular Script", "How to Draw Pencil Drawings", "How to Draw Patterns", "Chairman Mao's Poems and Calligraphy", "Lu Xun's Poems and Calligraphy", "Fei "New Calligraphy Collection" and so on. He has lived in Suzhou for a long time and worked in Shanghai and Nanjing.
