The first is SQ3R reading method, which was put forward by Robinson of the University of Iowa. SQ3R reading method is the first letter of five words in English: investigation, questioning, reading, revisiting and reviewing, which respectively represent five learning stages: browsing, questioning, reading, retelling and reviewing. Such books are generally suitable for professional books with more contents.

You must master the skills of reading.

Then, compare reading methods, that is, read two or three books describing the same content at a time, and see how different authors express their views, which they have never thought of. This method is very suitable for doing research and writing papers.

It is best to annotate appropriately when reading.

Finally, the reading method from shallow to deep: when we need to understand a period of history and major, we need to find an introductory book related to it first, and then read a professional book, so that we can learn more about what we want to learn from shallow to deep. Therefore, this method is suitable for history or professional books.
