Brief introduction of Mifei

Mi Fei (1051-107), formerly known as Kun, was changed to Guo after 4 1 year old, with a personal seal. He lived in Taiyuan, then moved to Xiangyang and settled in Runzhou (now Zhenjiang). Hui Zong was a doctor of calligraphy and painting, and later served as foreign minister of the Ministry of Rites. Mi Fei was a famous painter, collector and connoisseur of painting and calligraphy in the Northern Song Dynasty, and he was good at painting landscapes. He is innovative in painting and calligraphy. He thinks that the development of landscape painting in Song Dynasty has been bound by Chen Fa, a predecessor, and lacks original consciousness, so he created "Midian Landscape". But the original did not survive. His calligraphy is the crown of cursive script, with natural and unrestrained style, mellow and vigorous, familiar but not vulgar, dangerous but not strange, strange and correct, and natural. The main works handed down from generation to generation are: Tiaoxi Poem Post, Eighty Words of Praise, Duojinglou Poem Post, Learning Record of Wuhu County, Postscript of ChuLanting, etc.
