Whether Born of Gautama Buddha Volume (Song Edition) originated from Wu Daozi is still a lack of textual research, but it is an excellent ancient prose work. The last paragraph of the scroll is based on the story that King Sudoku took the newborn Sakyamuni to Ruiying Benqijing Temple, for which the gods hurriedly bowed down. King suddhodana holds the baby with a cautious gesture, fully showing his reverence for the holder; At the same time, the mighty God kneeling on the ground was not simply bowing down, but a face of panic and fear, an expression of complete spiritual submission. The actions of these two Sudoku kings and God, who have sufficient psychological basis, set off the extraordinary and supreme majesty of the baby who is still in its infancy and can't see any direct signs on the screen. This kind of expression clarifies the theme through the relationship between the expression and the character's heart, so it has innovative significance in the development of painting art skills (Figure 204).
The ghost uncle image of Beiyue Temple in Quyang is very strong. This is a mural painted by Liu Borong, the secretariat of Zhou Pu in the Tang Dynasty. The statue of Confucius in Qufu was carved by Song Shaosheng in the second year. The stone carvings of Guanyin are common all over the country. These works, whether it is the exaggerated and excited expression of Ghost Bo, the composition of Confucius' group portraits and the posture of Guanyin, obviously have the style of the Tang Dynasty, and the lines used in these works are all the so-called "green stripes"-Wu Daozi's specialty recognized in past dynasties.
Today, we can't directly see Wu Daozi's works, and we can't be sure that those ancient paintings have a close relationship with Wu Daozi. We mainly discuss Wu Daozi's artistic achievements from written records.
