In the 12th year of Yongzheng in Qing Dynasty (1734), Yongchun County was promoted to Yongchun County, which governed Dehua County and Datian County, and was in charge of Zhili Foreign Ministry. It was not until the second year of the Republic of China that the abandoned state was restored to the county. Zheng was appointed as the prefect of Yongchun from 51 to 52 years in Qianlong. During his tenure, he attached importance to humanities education and left many legacies. In the fifty-first year of Qianlong (1786), Zheng presided over the restoration of the "Huancui Pavilion" in the north of Yongchun, the former site of Zhu lecture, and wrote "Pavilion and Zhu Shibei" in Wufeng, Yongchun in the same year. In addition, Zheng also wrote a plaque of "emphasizing light" for Yongjin Wuji Rock and a plaque of "doing filial piety" for Chen Ancestral Hall in Xikeng Village, Hengkou. In the first month of the Bingwu year of Qianlong (1786), Zheng inscribed "Watching the Sun" and "Niyu Xiantan" beside the official road of Wutai Mountain in Nan 'an. In the fifty-second year of Qianlong, Zheng hired a serious revision of Yongchun County Records. Zheng Jiangdong, whose life story is unknown in Yongchun County Records, needs further research.
