It is located between Jingde Road and Xi Zhong City, and is named after Wu Ququ sung by ancient Wu people. The busiest time of the day in Qufang Wu is in the morning, because the breakfast of the old Suzhou people is contracted here.
There are two wonton shops in the Fifth Bureau Square, which are of equal strength and are favored by the goddess Carina Lau. The two wonton shops are Le Hui Wonton Store and Jeffery Ji Wonton Store. Both stores are very simple, both have decades of history, and both use pig bones to boil soup bases. Suzhou people call wonton "bubble wonton" because the four corners of the skin are folded in the middle, cooked quickly in water like parachutes, and floated like bubbles.
Authentic bubble wonton, with thin skin and little stuffing, should float on the soup like a balloon. It is very important to test whether a bowl of wonton is delicious or not. Le Hui's wonton soup base is very delicious, while Chen Ji's wonton is large and solid. Both have their own advantages, and it's hard to say which is better. You might as well eat one if you want.
There are hundreds of gardens in Suzhou. If you don't particularly like to choose one or two, you can have a look. The art garden is hidden in the residential alleys of Qufang Wu, which is not as crowded as Humble Administrator's Garden and Lion Forest. But among these gardens in Suzhou, the art garden is really the most lively, and it will be very comfortable to stroll here after breakfast.
