Why is Tang Bohu called "the first romantic talent in Jiangnan"?

Tang Bohu was a famous calligrapher, painter and poet in Ming Dynasty, and also the owner of Taohuayuan Temple. He is very famous, because he is the first of the four gifted scholars in the south of the Yangtze River, and his calligraphy, painting and poetry are also called "three musts". When Tang Bohu/Kloc-0 was 6 years old, he went to school with the first place after having obtained the provincial examination in Suzhou, from which we can see that he is a real genius. However, when Tang Bohu was young, it was very difficult, and later it directly affected Tang Bohu's life.

First of all, when he was 26 years old, his father, wife and sister died one after another, which was a great blow to Tang Bohu. At the age of 26, he grew white hair, and he didn't cheer up in the face of setbacks in life. So during this time, Tang Bohu indulged in debauchery by selling paintings every day, but it was only after his friend Zhu Zhishan persuaded him to wake up and start preparing for the imperial examination.

When he took the imperial examination again, he often went in and out of some brothels and behaved dissolutely. He almost got the place in the exam, but fortunately he had friends to intercede. However, when he took the exam in Beijing, he was involved in a storm of cheating in the exam, and was finally demoted to a small official, who was forbidden to take the imperial examination for life. This time, it was the biggest blow to him, which meant that he could not be an official in the future. Seeing that his career was desperate, Tang Bohu decided to wander in some places, so in the eyes of future generations, he was a "romantic genius", but this was only his helpless choice.
