Is it possible for children to enter the calligraphy class for one year without any progress?

I was very surprised to see this problem from the headlines.

The reason for this problem should be "calligraphy class". Nowadays, art training institutions are everywhere, and there are many calligraphy classes, but the teachers are mixed, and truly professional calligraphy training institutions are rare, with only one or two in a city or county.

After entering the calligraphy class for one year, the child's writing has not improved, which is indeed a special case. Maybe I met a calligraphy training institution that often said "selling dog meat by hanging sheep's head". There are no professional calligraphy teachers in these institutions. It is common for Chinese teachers and art teachers to take calligraphy classes. There are even other art teachers who are "visiting teachers". It is said that the music teacher who specializes in cucurbit flute has been arranged by the training institution to take a calligraphy class, which really drives the ducks to the shelves.

Imagine a person who doesn't even know what calligraphy is, and can't even write his own words well; Or a teacher who can only talk about calligraphy theory according to the script, but dare not or can't demonstrate himself to teach students calligraphy or writing, what effect will it have? Of course, there will be such problems and helplessness reflected by this parent.

Professional calligraphy training institutions can't afford to lose this person. Their correct approach is to let each freshman write a work on the first day of school and train for a week, at most half a month, so that students can write another work. Then show the two works to parents to see if the children's writing style has improved.

If there is no progress at all, parents are advised to change their children's learning immediately (but it has not yet appeared). If the child's writing style has changed, then leave two more articles and let the child write another one in half a month or January to see if there is any progress ... In a year's time, the child's writing habits and abilities will definitely change a lot.
