A case can only have one judgment, and there can be multiple rulings. The judgment is the final judgment of the case, but some cases are closed by ruling. For example, the plaintiff voluntarily withdrew the lawsuit, and the court rejected the plaintiff's claim to close the case.

The judgment only solves the substantive problems of the case, while the ruling can solve both substantive and procedural problems. Judgments must be made in writing, while awards can be made orally.
3. Different demands
Judgments and rulings can be appealed, but all judgments can be appealed, and the appeal period is 15 days. Except for some rulings, the rest shall not be appealed, and the appeal period is 10 days. For example, the ruling of not filing a case, the ruling of jurisdictional objection, and the ruling of dismissing the prosecution.
Effective time of award
1. If it is the first instance, the appeal period is 15 days from the date when the judgment is served. If no appeal is made,/kloc-will take effect in 5 days, and the other party will pay compensation within 3 days after taking effect. If it is more than three days, it may apply to the court for compulsory execution.
2. According to the relevant provisions of the Civil Procedure Law and related supporting judicial interpretations, there is an appeal period of 15 days before the first-instance civil judgment takes effect. If both parties of the original defendant do not appeal from the date of receipt of the judgment 15, the judgment will take effect.
