Brief introduction of Lu Ruixiang
Lu Ruixiang, 1950, from Xinhui, Guangdong. Member of China Calligraphers Association, director of Guangdong Calligraphers Association, member of its creative committee, director of Guangzhou Calligraphers Association, deputy secretary-general of Lingnan Calligraphy and Seal Cutting Association, lecturer of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, and associate professor of China Calligraphy and Painting Correspondence University. His works have won the excellent prize in the first national mass calligraphy competition, the second prize in Guangzhou calligraphy competition, the bronze prize in Calligraphy Newspaper Yellow Crane Cup Calligraphy Competition, the second prize in China Cup National Calligraphy Competition, and the gold medal in Prince Cup Cross-Strait Calligraphy Competition. His works have participated in many national and provincial calligraphy exhibitions. Some of his works have been exhibited in Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan Province and Southeast Asia, and he has been invited to hold personal calligraphy exhibitions and calligraphy art lectures in Hong Kong and Macau. His works have been included in National Hundred Excellent Works Collection, Chinese and Foreign Calligraphers' Works Collection, China Contemporary Calligraphers' Works Collection, China Celebrity Mo Bao, and Guangdong and Taiwan Calligraphy Works Collection. Biographies are included in China Dictionary of Contemporary Painters and Calligraphers, Who's Who in China Contemporary Art Circles, Dictionary of Contemporary Painters and Calligraphers, and Who's Who in China Literary Circles.
