In July 2005, Xu Zijiu Art Museum was established in Beijing with a total area of 65,438+0,300 square meters. The museum mainly collects nearly a thousand major works created by Xu Zijiu over the years. In line with the purpose of promoting traditional calligraphy, showing the ultimate level of individuals and truly bringing calligraphy to the market, it is open to the public free of charge all the year round. The exhibition hall is surrounded by China Calligraphy and Painting Federation and China Calligraphy Art Research Institute, which has a unique professional academic exchange environment.
In March 2006, President Hu Jintao put forward the socialist concept of honor and disgrace with "eight honors and eight disgraces" as the main content, which set a new benchmark for the moral construction of China citizens. Xu Zijiu believes that the calligraphy tradition can also keep pace with the times and meet the spiritual needs of today's society, and should not be limited to classical rhetoric. Later, he expressed eight honors and eight disgraces into a complete calligraphy work, and put hundreds of billboards in his unified calligraphy version of Socialist Outlook on Honor and Disgrace in Beijing, which aroused great social repercussions. His art gallery also actively promotes traditional ideas and develops calligraphy art through various public welfare activities.
