Li Hongzhang's fan is on an irregular fan, with orderly layout and harmonious characters. Beauty jumps like a lively pearl, and the lines are measured, sparse but not chaotic. It is refreshing and pleasing to the eye, and it can be called a masterpiece of calligraphy, which shows Li Hongzhang's profound calligraphy attainments. Li Hongzhang likes to collect books after politics. Living in Shanghai Lilac Garden, there is a library of "Wang Yun Caotang". In the tenth year of Xianfeng (1860), when suppressing the uprising of Shanghai Knife Association, he often went to the library of Yu Songnian, a famous bibliophile, and gave him many rare books. After his death, his books were inherited by Li Jingmai, and his precious edition was sold by the owner of "Hanwenyuan" bookstore in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period. The rest of the books were donated by Sun Yu 1940 to the library of Aurora University, with a total of 18000 volumes. Among them, the complete works of Gong 100 volume is divided into several parts, including friends' manuscripts, translation manuscripts, church manuscripts, navy manuscripts, telegrams and so on. The rest are political books, military books, local chronicles, science and technology books, chronicles of celebrities in past dynasties, etc. Manuscripts include The Complete Book of Rouyuan. After the collection was handed over to Aurora University, the school set up a special room for it, also known as "Li Library", which was stored in specially carved western-style bookcases. The library wrote an article on donating books in Aurora magazine. After 1949, the books of Aurora University Library were classified into Fudan University Library and East China Normal University Library with the adjustment of departments, among which Li's books were classified into Fudan University Library.
