Longshan Martyrs Tomb

"It rains heavily during the Qingming Festival, and pedestrians on the road want to die." The ancient poems describe people's mood and climate during the Qingming Festival deeply. This year, the school arranged for students from seven of our sixth grade classes to go to Cicheng to pay homage to the tombs of the martyrs.

The teacher asked each of us to make a white flower by hand to present to the martyrs. I went home and worked hard for more than two hours without making anything. In the end, I had no choice but to shamelessly ask my mother for advice. Finally, I made two beautiful white flowers with two green leaves, as fresh as a bath. Real flowers carrying dewdrops in the spring breeze.

Cicheng only has rice cakes in my mind. Although I know it is not far from the city, I have never been there. I only know that when my mother buys rice cakes, she always chooses the ones in Cicheng. What exactly is the scenery there? And what are the touching deeds of the martyrs? With a big question mark, I couldn't sleep at night...

Can't wait, we finally arrived in Cicheng after a bumpy journey. The morning in the old city is particularly dazzling in the sun, simple and elegant like a Chinese painting...

Following the tour guide to the tomb of the martyrs, a few sonorous and powerful words on the huge rock "The revolutionary martyrs are immortal" first came to light. As soon as I saw it, the previous joy turned into pain unconsciously. Amidst the low mournful music, more than 200 students from seven classes in our class automatically formed a square queue. The commentator introduced martyr Zhu Hongshan in a sad tone. The martyr's original name was Zhaoqi. He was from Zhuangqiao, Ningbo. He joined the revolution in 1937. In 1946, he was trapped by enemy troops during the battle. In order to save the lives of his comrades, he fired a warning shot and lured the enemy towards him. He was shot in the leg. Even though he could no longer stand upright, the martyrs fought back bravely, and finally died heroically due to being outnumbered. Listening to the lives and deeds of the martyrs, tears blurred the sight of the students. My heart is surging and my thoughts are abounding. Our happy life and beautiful days today are all obtained by the lives of the martyrs. The bright red scarf is dyed with the blood of the martyrs. What reason do we have not to cherish it? Thinking that I have never thought of this, I can't help but feel guilty. The new China that the martyrs exchanged with their lives and blood needs us to build. Only when the motherland is strong will it not be bullied by hegemonic countries. And we don't study hard today. , What will we use to build the country in the future, and what capabilities will we have to defend the motherland? The blood of the martyrs cannot be shed in vain! The future of our motherland cannot be destroyed in our hands! We must study hard to build our motherland well in the future and live up to the last wishes of the older generation of revolutionaries.

At this time, the sad music sounded again, and we lined up neatly in front of the monument and solemnly presented the small white flowers in our hands to the tomb of martyr Zhu Hongshan...

Qingming Festival Paying homage to the "Longshan Martyrs' Tomb" article/Shangyu Factory Network Published on: 2011-1-20 2:15:08 ┊ Number of words 1557 ┊ Reading 30 ┊ Share Time has passed, but what remains fresh in my memory is when we were in primary school At that time, every year on the eve of the Qingming Festival in breezy April, the school would organize our students to visit the martyrs’ tombs at the Baiguan Martyrs Cemetery and hold a joining ceremony there (called joining the Red Soldiers at that time).

In the early morning before the Qingming Festival, the spring was cold and the trees on both sides of the road were just a touch of green. Our students lined up, holding red flags and carrying huge wreaths, singing children's songs such as "We are the successors of communism" along the way, and marching to the Longshan Martyrs' Tomb with red flags and wreaths.

We started from Lixin Primary School in Xiashitou, walked all the way along Jiefang Street, passed through the railway bridge tunnel in Shangyantou, walked through the bridgehead of Rainbow Bridge, and came to the foot of Longshan, the Tomb of the Longshan Martyrs. The heroes are halfway up Longshan Mountain. When we just stepped onto the first step leading to the tomb of the martyrs, a solemn atmosphere would arise in our hearts. In order to show our high respect for the martyrs, each of our students took off the trousers on their heads. Hat, came to the tomb of the martyrs with a serious face.

Baiguan Longshan 0 Martyrs Cemetery is located at the west foot of Longshan. Bordering the Cao'e River in the front and the Hangzhou-Ningbo Railway in the north, this is a revolutionary martyrs cemetery established to commemorate the more than 300 martyrs from Shangyu who sacrificed their lives during the democratic era, as well as the martyrs of the People's Liberation Army who died gloriously during the liberation of Shangyu.

The Baiguan Longshan 0 Martyrs Cemetery starts from the road at the foot of the mountain in the west. It covers an area of ??600 square meters and consists of three parts: the tomb steps, the cemetery, and the monument.

It was first built in 1965 and rebuilt in 1985. It is 142 meters long from the foot of the mountain to the cemetery, with more than 130 stone steps. The stone steps are 4 meters wide and lined with green trees.

The Baiguan Longshan 0 Martyrs Cemetery is rectangular, 17.5 meters long and 21.8 meters wide. The west side of the cemetery opens and is surrounded by a stone cement guardrail. The monument is made of bluestone, facing east and west, 11 meters high and 2.5 meters wide. There is a red five-star on the top of the monument, and on the granite base of the front monument, seven golden characters "Monument to the 0 Martyrs" inscribed by Comrade Zhao Puchu, a famous Chinese calligrapher and former vice chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, are engraved. On the east side of the monument is an inscription by the Shangyu County People's Government, engraved in regular script, which reads: "In memory of the revolutionary martyrs who died gloriously in war and in the line of duty in our county during the new democratic revolution and socialist revolution. This monument is erected to commemorate it forever." .

The inscription on the stele introduces the heroic deeds of the martyrs. The loyal bones of 11 martyrs are buried in the tomb of the martyrs. They are respectively Yu Jusheng and Yang Yougui, commanders and fighters of the Eastern Zhejiang guerrillas who died while participating in the Xujia'ao battle at Shangyu Yiting in March 1944; and Chang Youchen, Qiu Zhengfu, PLA commanders and fighters who died while crossing the river to liberate Baiguan in May 1949. Li Xianbin, Zhao Chuntong, Wang Mingsheng, Feng Qingling, Jin Liangyi and two unknown martyrs.

We first laid a wreath at the monument of the martyrs' tomb (there were no flower baskets at that time), bowed our heads and stood in front of the heroes, silently remembering them.

What shocked and moved us the most was when the teacher explained to us the stories of the martyrs buried in the tombs of the martyrs. The teacher said eloquently: There are 11 heroes buried in the Longshan Martyrs Tomb. Two of them are Yu Jusheng and Yang Yougui, the commanders and fighters of the East Zhejiang guerrillas. Because they were betrayed by the traitors and traitors, the Japanese army surrounded Xujia'ao, the post house. He died heroically in the battle; while the other nine martyrs lost their precious lives in the battle to cross the river to liberate Baiguan.

At that time, the local villagers just buried them roughly in the nearby mountains. After liberation, hundreds of officials built the Longshan Martyrs' Tomb and moved the martyrs' spirits to be buried here. The teacher also said that there were 321 martyrs who died in Shangyu, although there were only 11 in the Longshan Martyrs Tomb, and the remaining 310 were buried elsewhere.

In memory of these selfless and fearless heroes, we stand in awe of their sacrifice for their country. We seem to see the magnificent scene of heroes fighting against a dense and ruthless hail of bullets amid deafening explosions. The heroes used their flesh and blood to create a happy and peaceful life today.

Then we held a ceremony to join the team. The students who were promoted to the team honorably pinned their red soldier badges in front of the martyrs’ tombs, raised their hands and swore an oath in front of the martyrs’ tombs:

“Thousands of The martyrs of the Communist Party of China sacrificed their lives heroically in front of us for the benefit of the nation. Let us hold their flag high and march on their bloodstains!"

Every time we visit the tombs of the martyrs, we will visit them. Let us remember that in this corner of the city where hundreds of officials live, there are still the bodies of martyrs who fought for our happy life today. Today’s children may have a hard time imagining the solemnity and reverence we felt when we paid homage to the martyrs at their tombs. Every year during the Qingming Festival, we visit the tombs of the martyrs and receive a spiritual baptism every year. ?
