Ou Yangxun (alias: Ouyang Lingeng, 557 -64 1), a native of Hengzhou (now Hengyang, Hunan), was originally from Linxiang, Tanzhou (now Changsha, Hunan). He was a famous calligrapher and calligrapher theorist in the Tang Dynasty, and he was also known as the four masters in the early Tang Dynasty with Yu Shinan, Chu Suiliang and Xue Qi.
