Qi binds yin and cold turns to stone. All flowers are lonely and a spring is beautiful.
This poem is an inscription in Pan Tianshou's Chinese painting Mo Yue Mei Tu.
The original text is as follows:
The pale trunk is like a dragon's body, and red berries are Dan's heart. Qi is yin, natural stone body. Ice and snow can't hold back, and spring is not allowed. All flowers are lonely, and a spring is unique.
